Martinimarkt Nottuln 2026: Friday warm-up

You can visit the rides and stalls for the first time on Friday from 18:30 to 21. The traditional lantern procession starts at 18 at the parish office, Kirchplatz 7. The St Martin's play follows in the schoolyard of Liebfrauenschule. Children receive a St Martin's pretzel at the end. This brings together two traditions in the municipality, giving families an extra opportunity to visit.

Around 120 stalls and rides in the town centre

The main market runs from 7 to 9 November. You can look forward to a funfair, market stalls and crafts. Around 120 stalls are spread throughout the historic town centre. Food and drink stalls are located as far as Hanhoff and Kastanienplatz. The municipality lists an Action House, bumper cars and Musik-Express among the rides. There are also three children's carousels for younger children. The fair combines market traditions with rides for different age groups.

Martinimarkt Nottuln 2026: Opening and times

The official opening begins at 15 on Saturday. It takes place at the historic Heitmann organ by Stiftsbrunnen. The funfair is open from 15 to 24 on Saturdays. On Sundays, it runs from 11 to 23, and on Mondays from 10 to 20. The market stalls have slightly shorter opening times in some cases: 15 to 21 on Saturday, 11:30 to 21 on Sunday and 10 to 20 on Monday. Shops are also open on Sunday from 13 to 18. You can combine your visit with a shopping trip.

How to plan your journey

Many attractions are located in the historic town centre, so you should allow more time for your journey at the weekend. Parking options are signposted locally. The municipality also recommends using public transport wherever possible. You can find the updated details and daily schedule on our Martinimarkt Nottuln 2026 event.
