Herbstjahrmarkt Osnabrück 2026 findet vom 30. Oktober bis zum 8. November an der Halle Gartlage statt. Zehn Tage lang verwandelt sich das Gelände in einen Treffpunkt für Kirmesfans. Besonders spannend: Zum Auftakt gibt es ein halbstündiges Freifahrt-Angebot, an beiden Freitagen sind Feuerwerke angekündigt und mittwochs steht der Familientag im Mittelpunkt.

Osnabrück Autumn Fair 2026: When and where?

The city of Osnabrück confirms the autumn edition from Friday, 30 October, to Sunday, 8 November 2026. The venue is Halle Gartlage on Schlachthofstraße. According to the city marketing department, around 120 attractions are planned. Alongside major rides, you will also find games, children's activities and a wide choice of food. This is not a small one-off market, but a fair lasting several days with its own programme.

Rides at Osnabrück Autumn Fair 2026

If you enjoy faster rides, you can focus on the major attractions. The official preview mentions Break Dance, Musik Express, bumper cars and a Ferris wheel, among others. It also describes family attractions and water fun in large walk-in spheres. However, this overview mainly lists types of rides and does not clearly identify the operators. For that reason, no unverified showman names or attraction profiles are linked here. The latest information from the organiser is authoritative for the exact line-up of rides.

Opening, fireworks and family day

The fair opens at 15 on Friday, 30 October. According to the organiser, all rides will be free for the first 30 minutes. An early visit may therefore be especially worthwhile. Brilliant fireworks are also scheduled for both Fridays, 30 October and 6 November. The verified official announcement does not give an exact start time, so we have deliberately not made one up. Wednesday, 4 November, is family day, with discounts on rides and food and drink. Ask the individual stalls for their prices.

Daily opening hours

The fair is open from 15 to 22 on Mondays to Thursdays. On Fridays, it runs from 15 to 23, on Saturdays from 14 to 23, and on Sundays from 14 to 22. These hours apply throughout the period from 30 October to 8 November and are listed for each event day individually. The difference between weekdays and weekends is particularly useful if you are planning a visit after work.

What is there to eat?

Osnabrück is also promising an unusually wide culinary mix: Korean fried chicken, langos, burgers, falafel, fish, corndogs and potato dishes are all on offer, as well as pizza and pasta served in a wheel of cheese. For something sweet, there are waffles, churros, crêpes and Schmalzkuchen, among other treats. You can easily combine your visit with a meal instead of just going from one carousel to the next.
