Hubertusmarkt Bergheim 2026: Road closures affect your journey to the funfair at Aachener Tor. Bergheim city council announced the traffic arrangements during set-up, the fair and the subsequent dismantling in an official notice dated 15 October 2026. If you plan to visit Hubertusmarkt between 30 October and 8 November, make sure to take the closed roads into account when planning your journey.

Hubertusmarkt Bergheim 2026: Which roads are closed?

The city lists Hauptstraße from Aachener Tor, Willy-Brandt-Platz, Chaunyring up to the railway crossing, and the green space in front of Aachener Tor as areas used for the event, including set-up and dismantling. Especially important for drivers: since Friday, 23 October 2026, 12 o'clock, Willy-Brandt-Platz and Chaunyring from the roundabout at Gutenbergstraße and Siemensstraße have been completely closed to general through traffic. According to the city, this closure will remain in place until dismantling is complete.

How long the restrictions apply

Although the funfair itself runs only from 30 October to 8 November, the event areas are occupied from 23 October to 11 November 2026. The restrictions may therefore still apply even after the rides have closed. The city says the measures are needed for the safety of visitors and showmen, and to provide enough space for orderly set-up and dismantling.

Tips for travelling to Hubertusmarkt Bergheim 2026

Allow extra time when travelling to the fairground in front of Aachener Tor and follow the signed diversions. It may be worth checking your route before setting off, especially if you are visiting at the weekend or for the fireworks. The relevant press release does not specify alternative parking or special bus timetables, so we are not making any unverified recommendations about these.

For ten days, Hubertusmarkt itself offers rides, game stalls and food and drink. Announced highlights include family day and the closing fireworks. You can find the confirmed dates, opening hours and programme directly on our Hubertusmarkt Bergheim 2026 event page. There you can plan your visit without having to gather information from different sources.

Check official information before your visit

Traffic arrangements may change at short notice. Check the official notice from Bergheim city council before you travel. It lists the affected roads and the periods announced by the city. This will help you look forward to the funfair and avoid unnecessary detours.
