Bielefeld – BIE-HAPPY Autumn Funfair 2026

BIE-HAPPY Herbstkirmes 2026 brings light, music and funfair rides to Bielefeld's Radrennbahn from 23 October to 1 November. For ten days, the festival site on Heeper Straße is home to major rides, children's carousels and food stalls. The showmen's association has also published this year's line-up of rides. It includes several attractions that it specifically identifies as new for 2026.

BIE-HAPPY Autumn Funfair 2026: funfair at Radrennbahn

The festival site is at Heeper Straße 301 in eastern Bielefeld, right next to the historic oval of the Radrennbahn. Once it gets dark, the typical autumn funfair atmosphere takes over: brightly lit rides and game stalls are joined by savoury and sweet food stalls. The organiser also lists entrances on Heeper Straße and at the corner of Heeper Straße/Ziegelstraße. So you can plan your visit from either the main road or the neighbouring district.

The official line-up published by the showmen's association includes Rasch's Musik Shop, Schneider's Formel-1 bumper cars, Steuer's Ferris wheel and Engelbrecht's Break Dancer. If you prefer a faster ride, Excalibur by Bruch, X Racer by Klünder, Disco Dance by Eickenberg and Miami Breeze by Krause are also announced. Krause's Big Ben Tower promises a different view of the festival site. Miami Breeze, Big Pictures 4D by Sonntag and Excalibur are marked as new attractions in this year's organiser's list. This does not necessarily mean that the rides have been newly built anywhere in the world.

There's also plenty for younger visitors: the organiser lists Kaiser’s Wilder Clown, Thelen’s Kinder Sport Karussell, Lönne’s Kinder Traum, a swing ride by Schneider and Oberschelp’s Bungee Circus. As the line-up of rides can change at short notice, the showmen's association's current list remains the definitive source.

Opening fireworks, happy hour and family day

To kick things off on Friday, 23 October, there's a happy hour from 15 to 17 with the offer “pay once, ride twice”. A 3D opening fireworks display is announced for the same evening at around 21. Family day follows on Wednesday, 28 October: according to the organiser, rides will be available at reduced prices. Individual prices for rides have not been published, so you won't find any estimated ride prices here.

Opening times: later start on 1 November

Regular opening times depend on the day of the week. The funfair opens at 15 from Monday to Friday, and at 14 on Saturdays and Sundays. It normally closes at 22, or at 23 on Fridays and Saturdays. There is one important exception on the public holiday of Allerheiligen: on Sunday, 1 November, the rides do not open until 18. Getting there, parking and tips for your visit

You can reach the Radrennbahn via Heeper Straße 301. The showmen's association points to parking around the site and bus connections operated by moBiel. If you're travelling by public transport, it's worth checking the latest timetable. It may be a good idea to allow extra time, especially on opening night and family day.
