Speyer – Speyer Spring Fair 2027

The Speyer Spring Fair 2027 takes place from Thursday, 25 March to Sunday, 11 April 2027 at the fairground in Speyer. The city has officially announced the dates of the 445 Spring Fair. Please note: The site will be closed on Good Friday, 26 March 2027. On all other days, you can enjoy rides, games, stalls, beer gardens, and sweet and savoury specialities. Entry to the fairground is free; you pay for each attraction separately.

Speyer Spring Fair 2027: fun on the fairground

The Spring Fair marks the start of the main funfair season in Speyer. The well-known fairground at Klipfelsau is transformed into a colourful amusement park. The city promises a varied selection of rides and amusements for families and ride enthusiasts. Whether you prefer a Ferris wheel or are looking for thrilling attractions, there should be something for several generations. The specific showmen attending 2027 will only be confirmed when the annual line-up of rides is published. The photos in our gallery are archive images from previous Spring Fairs.

Food, stalls and places to relax

Between the rides, you can find food stalls, confectionery stalls and comfortable seating. Beer gardens offer space for a break, while the game stalls put your skill and a little luck to the test. You can also stroll around the fairground and explore the market stalls. The full programme and any special events for 2027 have not yet been published. We will therefore add details of special events once the city announces specific dates.

Speyer Spring Fair 2027: opening hours and closed day

The City of Speyer has already announced the opening hours for 2027: generally 14 to 22 on Mondays to Thursdays, 14 to 23 on Fridays and Saturdays and on days before public holidays, and 12 to 22 on Sundays and public holidays. Maundy Thursday therefore has the longer pre-holiday opening hours. Easter Monday follows the public holiday hours. The Spring Fair is explicitly closed on Good Friday. Admission, family visits and safety

You do not need a ticket to visit the publicly accessible fairground. You only pay for individual rides, games and refreshments. The participating businesses set their own prices and any discounts. The city also provides extensive safety information, including requirements to keep emergency access routes clear and a ban on dangerous items. A site plan for the 2027 edition has been announced but has not yet been published.

Getting to the Speyer Spring Fair

The site is on the Speyer fairground at Klipfelsau, near the city centre. Especially when visitor numbers are high, travelling by public transport or bicycle can be more relaxing than looking for a parking space.
