Baumholder – Baumholder Easter funfair 2027

The Baumholderer Easter funfair 2027 is expected to take place on Weihervorplatz in Baumholder from Thursday, 25 March, to Monday, 5 April 2027. The dates have been inferred from the multi-year Easter cycle and have not yet been officially confirmed. In particular, 2026 the date was brought forward by one week because the site was booked for another event. This showmen's funfair traditionally offers a family-friendly selection of rides, game stalls and food stands.

Baumholder Easter funfair 2027 at Weihervorplatz

The Weihervorplatz on Ringstraße is a familiar venue for the Easter fair in Baumholder. A small fairground area is set up on the paved site, which you can easily visit while taking a walk through the town. Families in particular enjoy its relaxed atmosphere. In previous years, regional showmen have put on a programme with rides, prize stalls and food and drink. However, confirmation of the organisation and final site plan for 2027 is still pending.

Rides and family activities

Previous editions featured various children’s rides, round rides, games and confectionery. There were also occasional musical activities and special highlights. This does not make it possible to reliably determine what is planned for 2027. The line-up of rides for the year therefore remains unconfirmed until concrete announcements are made by the organiser or individual showmen. Fireworks are also not expressly promised here as a fixed part of the programme. This helps you distinguish which attractions are actually confirmed and which are simply part of the usual fair atmosphere.

Baumholder Easter funfair 2027: Opening hours and Good Friday

Full daily opening and closing times for 2027 have not yet been published. We are therefore not showing a made-up schedule at the moment. In previous years, the funfair took a break on Good Friday. For 2027, that would be Friday, 26 March; this rest day also still needs to be confirmed for the new edition. The possible closing day on Easter Monday has likewise not yet been officially announced. When planning your visit, please bear in mind that both the event duration and individual opening days may change.

Admission and costs on site

The public funfair area was accessible without a general admission ticket at the previous editions we know of. However, rides, games, food and drinks usually have to be paid for individually. No different general admission rules are known yet for 2027. Discounts or family days at previous events are no guarantee for the new edition. You can therefore provisionally plan on free entry to the site, but should check the current prices charged by individual businesses once you are there.

Getting there and latest information

Weihervorplatz is on Ringstraße in 55774 Baumholder. You can walk from the town centre or make your way to the town by public transport. Depending on the setup, parts of the car park and nearby access roads may be temporarily closed. The City of Baumholder maintains the official events calendar; the 2026 edition was listed there too.
