Cologne Easter Funfair 2027 on the Kölsche Riviera
Uferstraße on the Rhine is a well-known venue for the Rodenkirchen funfair. Rides and traditional fairground stalls are set against a distinctive riverside backdrop. The site is in southern Cologne, right on the so-called Kölsche Riviera. This makes it very different from Deutzer Werft. The event is also considerably smaller than the former Deutz Spring Fair.
For example, an additional Easter funfair was held at the Rodenkirchen site in 2025. By contrast, the large Deutz edition could not go ahead because of the tendering process. The Rodenkirchen edition was explicitly described at the time as a separate additional event. However, this does not mean that it will automatically return to the same site for Easter 2027.
Rides and a family-friendly funfair atmosphere
The Rodenkirchen Easter edition in 2025 featured a range of rides, games and food stalls. Typical funfair attractions include carousels, smaller family rides, game stalls, and sweet or savoury snacks. It is not yet known which operators might return to Cologne-Rodenkirchen in 2027. For this reason, no specific rides from previous years are listed as confirmed new attractions or participants in the upcoming edition.

The planned calendar period starts on Easter Saturday, 27 March, and ends on Sunday, 4 April 2027. No official opening hours have yet been published for this possible edition. Important: The Easter funfair at Deutzer Werft was cancelled again in 2026 because the tendering process had not been completed. It is not yet clear whether a funfair will take place 2027 at Deutzer Werft or in Rodenkirchen. Check the organiser's announcements before you travel.
Admission and travel to Rodenkirchen
Admission to the funfair site has generally been free in the past. Rides and stalls charge separately for their offerings. Uferstraße is on the Rhine in the Rodenkirchen district. You can easily explore the riverside paths on foot. Be aware that traffic arrangements may change during set-up and dismantling.
