Allerheiligenmarkt Sassenberg 2026: Road closures and no shuttle

At the Allerheiligenmarkt Sassenberg 2026 on 7 and 8 November, you should expect several road closures. Most importantly, the Park and Ride service originally planned for Sunday will not run this year. The town of Sassenberg published an official traffic notice about this on 3 November. We show you which roads are affected and where you can park instead.

Allerheiligenmarkt Sassenberg 2026: These roads are closed

Lappenbrink, between Hesselstraße and Von-Galen-Straße, will be closed from 8 o'clock on Thursday, 5 November. According to the town, the closure will remain in place until 12:30 o'clock on Monday, 9 November. Marta Schlotbohm veterinary practice will remain accessible via Von-Galen-Straße. Further road closures in the town centre begin at around 15 o'clock on Friday, 6 November. These include Klingenhagen, Drostenstraße from the Hesselstraße junction, and Von-Galen-Straße.

No Park and Ride on Sunday

One important change concerns travelling by car: the Park and Ride service between the Surteco and technotrans companies on Siemensstraße and Christian-Rath-Straße will be cancelled on Sunday, 8 November, with no replacement. So do not rely on the shuttle service announced earlier. Instead, the town asks visitors to use the designated car parks at Düsbergstraße, Im Herxfeld and Brook. Check the current signs as you travel.

Allerheiligenmarkt Sassenberg 2026: Observe parking restrictions

Additional parking restrictions are in place along the diversion route through the town centre. According to the town, any cars parked there will be towed immediately. So you should not park in vacant spaces on the closed roads. Allow a little extra time for your visit to the market and use the designated car parks. This is particularly advisable if you are heading to the party area on Saturday evening or the children's flea market on Sunday.

Funfair, market and Sunday shopping

The Allerheiligenmarkt combines rides, flea-market and crafts stalls, and food and drink. The market gets under way at 11 o'clock on Saturday, with live music and a party area in the evening. Sunday's programme includes the children's flea market and shops open from 13 to 18 o'clock.
