Street Fighter – Thelen-Michel
Technical Park pendulum ride with a varied history
Operator: Thelen-Michel (Karlsruhe)
Street Fighter Thelen-Michel Street Fighter by Thelen-Michel is a pendulum ride for anyone seeking intense movement and a strong sense of height at the funfair. Its motion differs from that of a roller coaster: instead of travelling along a track, the focus is on the swinging ride. Even from the outside, you can clearly see how the ride builds up and then releases its momentum. It is just as exciting for spectators as it is for riders.

Photos, dates and sources
For photos, it is best to capture the full swinging movement from a sufficient distance. Stay behind the barriers and keep the walkways clear. When comparing videos, check the specific operator and refurbishment history so you do not accidentally attribute another Street Fighter ride to this one. Find more profiles under Attractions. Technical details and documented operator changes are listed at Ride-Index.

History of Street Fighter Thelen-Michel
The operator history is particularly interesting. The ride was previously operated by, among others, Seggers in the Netherlands, Kleußer & Sohn, Alexander Zinnecker, Peter Weber, Marcus Brand and Jacobi. Before 2012, it was known as Xtreme Spinner. This long travelling history explains why older images may show different names and façade designs. The ride is currently operated by Thelen-Michel from Karlsruhe.

Visitor tips
If you are planning a ride, you should first watch the movement from the side. This will help you judge whether the pendulum swing suits your personal comfort level. This type of attraction is not necessarily suitable for children or guests who are sensitive to motion. The binding height, age and health requirements are posted at the ride; you cannot reliably determine individual limits from a model name.
