What to expect

Blasheimer Markt 2027: From Thursday, 2 September to Sunday, 5 September 2027, the traditional Blasheimer Markt takes place in Blasheim, a district of Lübbecke. The dates are already listed in Lübbecke’s official events calendar. Around the fairground on federal road 65, major rides meet market stalls, a trade fair and three festival tents. This makes the fair one of the best-known events in the Lübbecker Land region.

Blasheimer Markt 2027: Fairground and atmosphere

The fairground is right on the B 65 in Lübbecke-Blasheim. Marktstraße 1, 32312 Lübbecke is a suitable destination for your sat nav. According to Lübbecke erleben, the site covers approximately 65.000 square metres. Rides, rows of stalls and festival tents are spread across different areas. There is also a trade fair tent and separate entrances to the event areas. Allow plenty of time if you want to explore the whole site.

Rides and showmen

The official tourism information gives a typical figure of around 300 showmen and traders. The fair includes spectacular rides, family carousels and attractions for children. A Ferris wheel is traditionally one of its landmarks. However, the rides for the 2027 edition have not yet been finalised. For this reason, no previous operators are presented as newly confirmed participants. The two authentic archive photos on this page show Blasheimer Markt in the past, not the specific line-up of rides 2027.

Food and family activities

Alongside the rides, you’ll find a large market with a variety of goods. Food and drink ranges from bratwurst and fish to crêpes and roasted almonds. Three large festival tents are also known for their music and communal celebrations. A trade fair rounds out the event. Families can explore both the fairground and the rows of stalls. The exact exhibitors and musical performances for 2027 will be announced later.

Blasheimer Markt 2027: Dates and opening times

The organiser publishes recurring official market opening times. On Thursdays, the market is open from 16 until 1 at night. On Fridays and Saturdays, it is open from 11 until 4 in the morning. On Sundays, the market runs from 11 until midnight. These times are listed in the MEC timetable for 2027. The trade fair has its own closing times, which are sometimes earlier, so they should not be confused with the general market opening times.

Traditions and other highlights

The history of Blasheimer Markt goes back several centuries. Traditionally, the fair combines a fair, livestock and goods markets, and commercial activities. In past years, the funfair was officially opened on Thursday. Special festival tent programmes and other events were also part of it. However, not all individual dates for the 2027 edition have been confirmed yet. Therefore, no previous bands or fireworks times are listed as confirmed current programme events.
