The ride experience on Mythos

Mythos combines a rotating arm with a large gondola carrier. The ten two-person gondolas sit around its edge and face inwards. As the planes of motion overlap, the height, direction and position of your seat change. This means you look towards your fellow riders one moment and over the fairground the next. The Nordic design, with its Viking theme, complements the ride's mechanics. It is not a roller coaster ride: the changing movements are generated in a small space by several rotating axes.

Technology and data

The following values describe the specifically named attraction. Set-up dimensions refer to the assembled ride; for rides that rise, the maximum movement height does not indicate the free-fall distance. The number of seats describes simultaneous occupancy, not hourly passenger capacity.

Tips for your visit

Before boarding, watch how the arm and gondolas move together. The maximum construction or movement height listed in the database should be distinguished from the actual height of the seats at any given moment. Ride prices and participation conditions are set or displayed at each event. Before buying a ticket, ask about the minimum height, age and whether an accompanying person is required. Follow the boarding instructions and store loose items as directed by the team.
