Tielrode (Temse) – Carnavalkermis 2027

The Carnavalkermis Tielrode 2027 is officially held from Saturday, 13 February, to Monday, 15 February 2027. The municipality of Temse confirms these dates for the district of Tielrode. Please note: the Carnavalkermis in the centre of Temse follows later, from 27 February to 1 March. In Tielrode, you can combine a visit to the funfair with the local carnival. A large parade is also scheduled for Sunday, 14 February.

Carnavalkermis Tielrode 2027: Funfair in the district of Temse

Tielrode is located in the East Flemish municipality of Temse on the Durme. The local carnival funfair is listed as a separate three-day event. The area in the village centre is suitable for a short visit with friends or family. Dorpsplein is the main landmark. However, the detailed site plan and stall locations for the new edition have yet to be confirmed. The location should therefore be understood as a central meeting point, not as a fully published site plan.

Rides and small funfair stalls

A carnival funfair in a district is usually small. Possible attractions include children's carousels, small game stalls, snacks and sweets. However, the actual selection depends on showman applications and stall allocations. There is no confirmed complete list of rides for 2027 yet. Rides from previous years are therefore not automatically included in the new event. This makes it clear which exhibitors have actually been announced and which examples simply describe the event's usual character.

Carnavalkermis Tielrode 2027: Opening hours

The three event days have been officially confirmed. However, the daily opening and closing times for the funfair have not yet been fully published. The MEC events calendar therefore does not include made-up times. The carnival parade has its own timings, which are not the same as the operating hours of the rides. On Monday in particular, rides may start operating at a different time than on weekend days. Check the municipal information for final arrangements.

Carnival parade on Sunday, 14 February

A special highlight is the official Carnavalstoet Tielrode 2027. The municipality lists it for Sunday, 14 February, from 14:30 to 18:00 on the streets of Tielrode. You can combine the parade with a visit to the funfair, provided the rides are operating. Roads may also be temporarily closed during the parade. These times apply specifically to the parade, not automatically to the entire funfair. Other evening programmes are separate club events.

Admission, getting there and official dates

The funfair area in the public village centre is usually accessible without an admission ticket. Rides, games and food and drink are paid for separately. Dorpsplein is a landmark in the centre of 9140 Tielrode. If travelling by bus or car, plan for road closures because of the carnival parade.
