Lokeren – Carnival funfair 2027

The Carnival funfair Lokeren 2027 is tentatively scheduled to take place at the Markt from Saturday, 13 February, to Sunday, 21 February 2027. The dates are listed in a specialist funfair calendar, but the City of Lokeren has not yet explicitly confirmed them. The city confirms that the Carnival funfair takes place annually in the event area at the Markt. Access is usually free.

Carnival funfair Lokeren 2027 at the Markt

The Markt is a central square in the heart of Lokeren. The city regularly sets up its Carnival funfair here. According to the official municipal description, Lokeren has three major funfairs each year: the Carnival funfair, the autumn funfair and the August funfair. Each edition should be considered separately. That is why the Carnival funfair also has its own event listing in the calendar. The city describes the funfair as an event held during the spring half-term holiday, but has not yet published all the specific dates for 2027.

Carousels, game stalls and sweets on the square

Visitors to a Belgian funfair usually find a mix of family carousels, small circular rides and skill games. Food and confectionery stalls also create the typical funfair atmosphere. However, it is not yet known which showmen will arrive in February 2027. We therefore do not list any attractions solely because they appeared at previous editions. The centrally located funfair is suitable for a short outing, especially with children. The offers and prices of individual stalls still need to be added once a current line-up of rides is available.

Carnival funfair Lokeren 2027: Opening times

The municipality has not yet published a complete daily operating schedule for the 2027 edition. The most recently checked municipal funfair overview also provides no exact closing times. Therefore, the structured MEC opening times are currently blank. Checking the dates is particularly important: in Flanders, the spring half-term holiday runs 2027 from 8 to 14 February. The tentatively reported funfair dates, 13 to 21 February, extend beyond that period. The city's specific annual announcement must therefore be awaited.

Family outing, admission and carnival season

The event area is on public market grounds. A general admission fee for visiting the funfair is not normally required. However, individual charges apply for rides, games, snacks and drinks. Family-friendly activities or discounts may be added if officially announced by the city or showmen. There is currently no confirmed programme information for 2027. We therefore do not list a specific family day or fireworks display as confirmed.
