Grembergen – Carnavalkermis 2027

Carnavalkermis Grembergen 2027: Sunday, 21 February 2027, follows from the city of Dendermonde's official annual scheduling rule for the Carnavalkermis in the district of Grembergen. The event is assigned to the second Sunday before Halfvasten. This date can be verified against the calendar, but the city has not yet announced the full event period for 2027 separately. This draft therefore initially includes only the main Sunday derived from the official rule.

Carnavalkermis Grembergen 2027: Why 21 February?

Halfvasten, the fourth Sunday of Lent, falls on 7 March in 2027. Two Sundays before that is 21 February. This is the relative date given by the city for the Grembergen Carnavalkermis. However, the official listing gives the period 27 February to 3 March for the 2026 edition. This is a historical comparison and is explicitly not confirmation that the funfair will open on the same days of the week in 2027.

If you plan to travel for the weekend, check the city's event list again later. In particular, Saturday and Monday have not yet been officially confirmed as ride days for the new edition.

A separate funfair in the district of Grembergen

Grembergen is part of Dendermonde, but it has several event dates of its own in the city's funfair calendar. Alongside the Carnavalkermis, there is also a September funfair, for example. These events are not the same: their season, occasion and individual editions need to be considered separately.

The large Carnavalkermis in central Dendermonde is a separate listing too. If you want to visit both, compare the relevant official calendar details. The city manages funfair pitches through its own process; no specific list of showmen or rides approved for Grembergen 2027 is available yet.

Carnavalkermis Grembergen 2027: Opening times, prices and programme

No confirmed daily opening times have been published for 2027. The calendar listing therefore does not show any time as confirmed. Individual ride prices, any admission arrangements and special offers are also still unknown. The line-up of rides has not been confirmed, so no attractions are listed as participants.

Whether the Carnavalkermis will include a separate carnival programme or other activities has also not yet been officially confirmed for the new edition. Programme items from previous years are therefore not being added to the calendar.

How to plan your visit

For now, the location marker shows only the centre of Grembergen. It is not official confirmation of the eventual pitch locations. For smaller funfairs in particular, it is worth checking the latest location and traffic information before setting off. For 2027, neither specific parking arrangements nor special road closures have been confirmed.

The official funfair overview of the City of Dendermonde is the authoritative source for dates and changes. You can find more funfairs in the region in the Kirmestermine.eu events calendar. This draft can be updated as soon as the city publishes the specific operating dates and opening times for Grembergen.
