Haan – Haaner Kirmes 2027

The Haaner Kirmes 2027 is scheduled, in accordance with the city's established date rule, from Friday, 24 September, to Tuesday, 28 September 2027. The city of Haan holds its funfair around the fourth Sunday in September. No separate announcement from the organisers has yet been made for this specific edition. Opening hours are provisional, as of 2026. This means you can already mark the five funfair days in your calendar and check the latest announcements before travelling at a later date.

Haaner Kirmes 2027: street funfair in the Bergisches Land

Haaner Kirmes is one of the defining fairs in the Bergisches Land. What makes it special is its location right in the city centre: several streets and squares are transformed into one continuous funfair mile. Neuer Markt is a central landmark, while other attractions are spread throughout the city centre. As you walk around, you can discover various attractions and combine your visit with a stop at the food and drinks stalls.

Rides, children's attractions and showmen

The funfair traditionally offers a varied mix of larger rides, classic carousels, games and attractions for children. However, there is no current list of rides confirming which operators will bring which individual attractions 2027. For this reason, previous appearances are not automatically carried over, and no specific rides are being announced as new attractions. The site layout for 2027 may differ from previous years.

Haaner Kirmes 2027: opening hours and special features

Official operating hours for edition 2026 varied depending on the day of the week: Friday began in the afternoon, Sunday as early as the morning, and Monday particularly early. The schedule shown with this preview follows these published opening hours from the previous year, shifted to the relevant days in September 2027. It is therefore a planning guide, not confirmed special opening hours for the new edition.

Opening, family programme and closing

For edition 2026, the opening at the Ferris wheel on Neuer Markt was part of the festivities. A fireworks display high in the sky at the end was another special feature. There has been no separate, reliable programme announcement for 2027 so far. For this reason, highlights from previous years are not listed as new, guaranteed programme dates. If you only want to come on a particular evening, it is especially worth waiting for the programme details to be published.

Getting there and latest information

During a large street funfair, expect road closures and changes to traffic flow in the city centre. Neuer Markt is a useful landmark for planning, but does not guarantee that parking will be available. Check the latest information about buses and trains, as well as parking options nearby. The official Haaner Kirmes website publishes information from the organisers. You can find more regional funfairs in our funfair calendar.
