Pollhans-Markt 2027 officially takes place from Saturday, 16 October, to Monday, 18 October 2027 in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock. Pollhans is one of the best-known three-day markets in North Rhine-Westphalia. The town describes it as a blend of a nostalgic fair and a modern large-scale funfair. The event site stretches along Pollstraße and across several adjoining areas. This lets you move between fast rides, exhibition tents and market stalls. Rides and funfair entertainment at Pollhans

The town promotes Pollhans with large thrill rides, family attractions and traditional carousels. Games, shooting galleries and lottery stalls are also traditional parts of the funfair. Showmen must apply for the 2027 edition by 30 November 2026. Therefore, no final line-up of rides is available yet. Older ride information does not confirm participation in the coming year. A new list will only be published once current participation has been confirmed.

Pollhans-Markt 2027: Official event hours

The town events calendar lists overall event hours of 14:15 to 4 at night for 16 October. On Sunday, the event as a whole starts at 11 and runs until 3 at night. For Monday, the calendar lists 10 to 2 at night. These time slots have therefore been entered in the MEC schedule as the overall event hours. Individual rides, the farmers' market and the trade fair may close earlier. The stated closing times at night do not necessarily apply to all the carousels.

Farmers' market and trade fair

Regional produce, crafts and a large farmers' market are a regular part of Pollhans. According to the town, the market is along Dechant-Brill-Straße. On Saturday, the market stalls usually open from 14 to 20. On Sunday and Monday, they open earlier. Companies from the region also present their products in a trade fair tent. Opening ceremony, music and fireworks

The 2026 programme featured an official opening with a ceremonial keg tapping. Afterwards, visitors could enjoy free rides for a short time on selected rides. Live music and party tents were also part of the event. Fireworks were announced for Monday evening to close the event. These details reflect the tradition, but are not yet confirmed plans for October 2027. Therefore, neither last year's performers nor an unconfirmed fireworks time are listed as fixed programme items.

Admission, location and how to get there

Based on past practice, access to the public Pollhans-Markt and the regular festival areas is free. Individual carousel rides, shopping and food and drink cost extra. The festival area is on Pollstraße, 33758 Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock. The town regularly provides information about parking, special buses and the Pollebahn. Traffic restrictions also apply on several streets during the funfair. So check the new site and travel plan before setting off.
