Dammer Räubermarkt 2027 is provisionally listed for Saturday, 25 September to Monday, 27 September 2027. So far, this date range is only supported by a funfair calendar and has not been confirmed by the town of Damme. Please note: the official event 2026 ran from Friday to Sunday; the days of the week may have shifted by 2027. The Räubermarkt combines a funfair with market stalls, musical entertainment and activities in the town centre.

Dammer Räubermarkt 2027 in the town centre

The Räubermarkt is one of the recurring events in the town of Damme in the district of Vechta. The town centre, Große Straße, Mühlenstraße and Kirchplatz are at its heart. During the market, the historic centre becomes a meeting place for visitors from Damme and the surrounding area. You can therefore explore the different areas easily on foot. The exact locations of individual rides and stalls will only be confirmed once the site plan for the next event is published.

Rides and a colourful funfair atmosphere

Dammer Räubermarkt combines a traditional market visit with a small funfair. It features changing rides, activities for children and traditional funfair stalls. In 2026, Breakdance, bumper cars and a walk-through attraction were among those reported. However, these names refer only to the previous year. No confirmed current list for 2027 has been published so far. Therefore, no rides have yet been listed as participating in this event.

Dammer Räubermarkt 2027: Market and flea market

The flea market in the town centre is a particularly popular part of the Räubermarkt. For 2026, the town of Damme arranged for Kirchplatz, Große Straße and Mühlenstraße to be closed on Sunday because of the flea market. This market area is therefore an important part of the event. The flea market times for 2027 have not yet been announced. You should therefore only make firm plans to visit once the official programme has been published.

Family day, robber-themed activities and music

Previous events traditionally began with a family day. In some years, special discounts on rides were offered. The programme also included robber-themed singing, musical events and other activities. For example, the town reported in 2015 on a robber pass offering discounts. However, these earlier offers do not confirm what will happen in September 2027. Specific programme details for the new event therefore remain unknown for now.

Admission, opening hours and provisional dates

According to the regional tourism information service, access to the public market areas is free. Rides, game stalls, food and shopping normally incur separate costs. No confirmed opening hours plan 2027 has been published so far. The MEC calendar therefore deliberately does not include an invented daily schedule. The stated duration, from Saturday, 25 September to Monday, 27 September 2027, is also only provisional at present, as the officially documented event 2026 ran from Friday to Sunday.

Getting to the Räubermarkt in Damme

For directions, Kirchplatz in the centre of 49401 Damme is a useful landmark. Große Straße and Mühlenstraße are important market streets. Access restrictions may be put in place there because of the flea market. At the 2026 event, the affected areas were closed to cars on Sunday from 8 to 18. These times do not automatically apply to 2027. The town publishes details of current road closures and diversions.
