Ride experience on the wave swing

The seats hang from chains and swing outwards as the ride spins faster. The carousel's undulating motion creates a gentle up-and-down movement. The result is an open circular ride with plenty of wind in your face and a view of the activity all around.

You sit out in the open above the fairground. As the ride spins faster, the angle of the chains changes and the seats move further outwards. The additional wave-like motion gives the circular ride its characteristic rhythm. The view is part of the experience, without the ride being simply an observation tower.

A wave swinger differs from the tall Starflyer towers: here, the focus is on the classic carousel with its wave-like motion. The open seating position and the wind in your face are features shared by both types, but their structures and ride experiences are different.
