Speed Wave Peeters is a travelling circular ride run by Belgian showmen Anthony Peeters and Louisette Van den Heuvel. The ride is of the Techno Power type, made by Slovak manufacturer AK Rides, and made its debut in 2026. Three gondolas hang from each of its four arms, rotating and swinging above the fairground. This makes Speed Wave one of the newest attractions at Belgian funfairs.

What riding Speed Wave Peeters is like
You sit in one of the twelve gondolas, two to a gondola. When the ride starts, the arms move around the centre of the ride. At the same time, the gondolas spin, so your view keeps changing as the other gondolas pass by. The ride focuses less on extreme height and more on rapid changes of perspective.
A total of 24 passengers ride at the same time. The ride is also compact enough, at around nine metres tall, for almost any fairground.

History of Speed Wave Peeters
The operators first presented Speed Wave 2026 at the Sinksenfoor in Antwerp. It is a new ride, not the older Techno Power that Anthony Peeters had travelled with since 2020. This earlier ride was sold to France in 2024. After its debut, Speed Wave was announced at other Belgian fairgrounds, for example at the Foire à 1 Euro in Huy.

Who is this ride suitable for?
Speed Wave is suited to teenagers and adults who enjoy spinning rides with changing directions of movement. If you are sensitive to repeated spinning, it is best to watch a full ride from outside first. The minimum height is posted at the entrance. Store loose items safely before the ride.
