What it’s like to ride Maxximum 2 by Jolliet
You take a seat in the gondola with up to nine other passengers. First, the large arm swings back and forth, gradually gaining height. Once it has built up enough momentum, the gondola is released to rotate. Inversions follow as the main arm keeps moving. According to the operator, speeds of up to 100 km\/h and forces of up to 5 G are possible. At the highest point, you also get a brief, sweeping view of the entire fairground. By the way, the propeller does not power the ride; according to the showman, it produces sound effects.
