Heroes Fick: Ride experience
On Heroes, you sit two to a gondola. As the ride turns, the gondolas are lifted on the arms. This means the direction and viewpoint keep changing during the ride. The combination of circular motion and changes in height makes for a much more active ride than a simple swing carousel. The many gondolas are clearly visible from outside, so you can watch the sequence of movements before boarding. Particularly in the evening, the ride's movements combine with the illuminated superhero façade to create a striking overall effect.

History of Heroes Fick
The ride was built in 1996 by Tivoli Enterprises in the United Kingdom. It originally travelled under the name Joker with Friedrich Bügler. Marvin Fick took over the ride and redesigned it as Heroes from 2016. This name history is important because older photos often still show the former façade. Specialist profiles list 18 gondolas with two seats each, making 36 seats per ride. The ride footprint is given as approximately 18 by 18 metres. Its height is stated as around eight metres and its power requirement as approximately 100 kilowatts. These are indicative technical figures from ride databases.

Who is Heroes Fick suitable for?
Heroes is particularly appealing to visitors who enjoy spinning rides with noticeable centrifugal forces. If you get dizzy easily, you should watch the sequence of movements beforehand. The gondolas are not comparable to a traditional roller coaster, as there is no fixed track. Whether children are allowed to ride depends on the current safety requirements at the attraction. The exterior is particularly interesting for photos: you can see the six arms, the gondolas and the comic-book design. For older video footage, check whether it already shows the Heroes version or the earlier Joker.
