Spaßallee Rasch is a colourful funhouse run by showman Edgar Rasch from Lunden. Behind its new design is a familiar funhouse with a long history: the attraction previously travelled as Crazy Jungle and later as Crazy Town. Today, Spaßallee invites you to enjoy a varied walk-through featuring obstacles, glass corridors and surprising moving elements. It is not about riding as fast as possible, but about getting involved yourself.

Highlights & records

Multi-level walk-through course with a glass maze, mirror areas, moving floors and a playful façade inspired by a street game. Completely rethemed for the 2025 season.

Behind the fresh façade is a classic that turns your next step into an experience with glass corridors and moving obstacles.

Experience Spaßallee Rasch

Even the façade makes it clear that this attraction aims to be more than a simple walk-through. Its colourful design draws on a familiar street-game concept and turns your visit into a little journey of discovery. Inside, various obstacles challenge your balance and attention. Wobbling and rotating floors change the familiar ground beneath your feet. There are also glass and mirror areas where you first have to find your way forward.

Spaßallee Rasch is all about switching between movement and finding your way. Sometimes all you need to do is spot the right passage. Moments later, you have to adapt to a floor that does not stay still as you expect. This makes the course more varied than a simple mirror maze. The route itself is part of the experience: you walk through the different sections and can see how your companions react as it happens.

What makes Spaßallee special?

What makes it particularly exciting is the combination of a long-established funhouse and a fresh, playful theme. The attraction has a history spanning several operators and names. Today, however, the focus is on a lively family course without fixed seats or set ride cycles. You cannot simply avoid the obstacles by closing your eyes: you have to take the next step yourself.

You can find more funhouses, historic carousels and attractions in our attractions overview. Spaßallee Rasch shows how a new design can give an existing attraction a character all of its own.

History: from Crazy Jungle via Crazy Town to Spaßallee

The attraction was built in 1996 by the Dutch showman company Moonen. It was first called Crazy Jungle. In April 1998, it passed to Renz of Stuttgart and later to Wagner of Karlsruhe. Under the name Crazy Town, it became a familiar sight at German fairgrounds over many years. Since 2015, the attraction has belonged to Edgar Rasch's operation.

For the 2025 season, the attraction was given a new identity as Spaßallee following a major redesign. The name change was therefore more than just a new sign on the front: the theme was also revamped. However, the physical attraction remained the same. If you visited Crazy Town in the past, you can recognise familiar elements in today's Spaßallee while discovering its updated presentation.

Timeline

Built in 1996 as Crazy Jungle by Moonen. With Renz from 1998, with Wagner from 2005; later known as Crazy Town. With Edgar Rasch since 2015. Renamed Spaßallee for the 2025 season following a major redesign.

Who is Spaßallee Rasch for?

If you enjoy funhouses where you can move around, laugh and solve puzzles together, Spaßallee is an interesting choice. Groups of friends and families will find it a good alternative to traditional circular rides. Children can enjoy the optical illusions, while older visitors can try out the balance features. The different sections mean the course does not feel like one long challenge.

When walking on moving floors, it is worth adjusting your pace. A careful walk-through is usually more entertaining than trying to reach the exit as quickly as possible. You can find out about any age or height restrictions at the ticket office or entrance. The attraction is also a good shared activity between two rides at the fair.
