Fly Over – Jeffrey Nachtigall
Rotating gondolas and rapid changes of perspective
Operator: Jeffrey Nachtigall (Neuruppin)
Fly Over Nachtigall is a travelling ride that provides an intense experience with rapid changes of direction and spinning gondolas. Despite its name, it is not a tall swing ride. The ride owned by Jeffrey Nachtigall is a Remix made by the British manufacturer Tivoli Enterprises. Its passengers sit in gondolas attached to rotating arms. The combination of the main structure's movement and the gondolas' own rotation gives this ride its distinctive character.

Highlights & records
Debuted in Malchow in July 2022; a Remix round ride with several rotating gondola arms.
Nachtigall's Remix focuses on changing spinning movements rather than great height—a thrilling round ride with its own distinctive character.
What it's like to ride Fly Over Nachtigall
As soon as the ride starts, you notice several movements working together. The gondolas move around the centre of the ride while changing direction themselves. As a result, from the outside the ride often looks more orderly than it feels in your seat. Your view changes quickly. One moment you see the fairground, then other gondolas or the illuminated frontage. The rhythm comes from the overlapping movements and can feel different from moment to moment.
The open design is particularly striking. You sit in an open gondola rather than an enclosed cabin, so you feel the wind and experience the changing surroundings directly. Spectators also see a dynamic display: the gondolas circle as the entire ride keeps moving. Lighting and music can add to the effect during an evening ride.

History of Fly Over Nachtigall
The ride was built by Tivoli Enterprises in 2022 and made its debut in Malchow in July of the same year. It is operated by Jeffrey Nachtigall from Neuruppin. The Remix type continues the tradition of compact, intense round rides, but uses its own distinctive combination of arms and gondolas. The technical classification matters, as other attractions also travel under the name “Fly Over”.
In particular, the large tower swing rides operated by Piontek have a similar name. However, they are completely different physical rides and offer a different experience. Nachtigall's ride is not about height above the fairground, but about spinning and swinging close to the ground. This has earned it a place of its own among action-packed round rides.

Who is the Remix for?
Fly Over is especially appealing to fairgoers who enjoy spinning rides. If you already like changing centrifugal forces and unpredictable views, you should enjoy the ride's movement. If, on the other hand, you are sensitive to spinning, watch the ride before getting on. This is especially advisable if you have little experience with rides like this. You can find the safety and height restrictions at the ride; these determine whether you can take part.
The ride is also a good point of comparison with classic Polyp rides and other multi-arm round rides. You can discover more types in our attraction overview.
