Highlights & records
One of the earliest HUSS Break Dance rides (Break Dance No. 1, serial number 52 447).
A Break Dance from the very beginning: Deca Dance has been spinning its gondolas at Belgian funfairs since 1986.
What riding Deca Dance Verwijk Bufkens is like
You sit in one of 16 gondolas, with room for two. Four gondolas are attached to each cross, and four of these crosses rotate on a large turntable. As the turntable spins, the crosses rotate in the opposite direction and the gondolas swing freely. These three movements combine, and the next change of direction often comes as a surprise.
Music and lights add to the typical Break Dance atmosphere. How much your gondola spins also depends on how the weight is distributed. That is why it usually spins differently with two people than with one.
