Circus-Circus: Ride experience on the HUSS Magic
In front of a circus façade, several rotating movements combine to create a lively ride. The design carries the circus theme through to the gondolas. Its appeal lies in the interplay of changing direction, vertical movement and the view across the ride.
The gondolas' movement repeatedly changes your view of the fairground during the ride. You see the circus façade from different angles while experiencing the interplay of the rotations. That is why it is worth watching a complete cycle before riding. This will help you decide whether this kind of ride is right for you.

Circus-Circus: Technology and specifications
The ride is a HUSS Magic from 1989. Twelve gondolas each have four seats, making a total of 48 seats per ride. This is the number of people who can ride at once, not the hourly capacity. The overall height is twelve metres.
Sources differ on the set-up dimensions: the Crange figures give an area of 24 × 24 metres. Ride-Index lists a frontage of 22,5 metres and a depth of 23,5 metres, along with a power requirement of 190 kilowatts. The organiser's figures are retained in the specifications; the differing data are included here for comparison.
Circus-Circus: History and debut
The ride made its debut at the Sterkrader Fronleichnamskirmes in Oberhausen in 1989. Ride-Index lists the sequence of operators as Howey/Bruch, followed by Bruch, Bruch & Gründler and Thomas Gründler, and then Gründler & Preuß. The current database entry names Circus Circus GmbH & Co. KG from Emstek. The Crange line-up of rides 2026 uses the name Gründler & Preuß KG.
The circus design combines the ride's principle with a distinctive setting. For visitors, both the gondolas' movement and the ride's presentation on the fairground are therefore of interest.

Tips for your visit
Allow yourself time for a ride on Circus-Circus and read the information at the entrance.
If you are going to the funfair as a family, check the accompaniment rule before queuing. The stated minimum age alone does not tell you whether a child can ride, as a minimum height also applies. Younger children who are allowed to ride must also be accompanied. So agree in advance who will ride and check that everyone meets the requirements. The information at the entrance is what matters for your visit.
From age 6 when accompanied, from age 8 unaccompanied; minimum height 1,30 m. Ask at the ride for the binding entry rules and current fare.
