At Belgian fairgrounds since 1996: in the Belgian Scooter, you take the wheel yourself – and a bump is always just around the corner.
What it’s like to ride Belgian Scooter Besanger
Take the wheel and steer your car around the ride area. You can accelerate, dodge or deliberately have a little collision with your friends. A thick rubber bumper around the car cushions the impact. Each car also seats two people, so you can ride with a child or partner.
Music and lights make the bumper cars one of the most popular meeting spots at the fair in the evening. That’s why they have been a fixture at funfairs for decades.

History of Belgian Scooter Besanger
Adesko built the ride in 1996. Since then, it has travelled around Belgian funfairs under the name Belgian Scooter. The Belgian manufacturer has made many bumper cars for showmen in the Benelux region. For example, Xavier Sonnaert’s bumper cars also come from the same workshop.

Who is the bumper cars ride suitable for?
Belgian Scooter is suitable for almost all age groups. Children can steer themselves from a certain height, while smaller children can ride with an adult. The exact rules are posted at the ticket booth. Start slowly until you get the hang of the steering. Head-on collisions are usually prohibited, so be sure to follow the staff’s instructions.
