Adventure Bay – Corrie Spelbrink
Tropical funhouse with five floors and a large slide
Operator: Corrie Spelbrink (Netherlands)
Adventure Bay by Corrie Spelbrink is a large Dutch walk-through attraction with a tropical theme, several floors and a striking slide. Instead of sitting in a car, you explore the course on foot. Paths, stairs and obstacles lead you through a summery adventure world. The attraction combines the classic surprises of a funhouse with a water area where, according to the operator, you can get wet—but you don’t have to.
Even from the outside, Adventure Bay stands out with its multi-storey façade. The long slide is particularly eye-catching. It makes the end of the walkthrough an experience in its own right and ensures that the funhouse is also interesting to people who prefer to get active themselves rather than be taken for a ride by a machine.

Highlights & records
Five levels, a tropical water obstacle course and a nine-metre-high slide; premiere in Helmond 2023. Sustainability award in Tilburg 2026.
Adventure Bay combines a multi-level obstacle course with water features and a spectacular slide.
What to expect as you make your way through five levels
You make your way through the Funhouse's five levels yourself. Along the way, you'll encounter various sections that test your balance, concentration and agility. This means you can set the pace yourself to some extent. Unlike a ghost train on rails, you don't sit in a carriage; at each station, you decide how to tackle the next challenge.
One special feature is the water obstacle course. It suits the tropical theme and adds a playful element to the usual obstacles. The high slide is another of the most striking features. Once you've made your way through the levels, you can really enjoy the finale. The combination of climbing, balancing and sliding sets the attraction apart from a simple mirror maze.

The history of Adventure Bay and operator Spelbrink
Corrie Spelbrink had Adventure Bay built by the Italian manufacturer Gosetto. The new attraction made its debut in spring 2023 at the funfair in Helmond. Spelbrink replaced the Funhouse Crazy Circus, which he had operated previously. The new attraction was given a tropical design and was specifically conceived as a multi-level walk-through adventure.
In July 2023, Spelbrink also presented the attraction at the Tilburgse Kermis, where he spoke about the complex set-up and transport. The design, with its water obstacle course and large slide, was a key talking point. Adventure Bay also returned to Tilburg in the following years. For 2026, TilburgWijzer lists the attraction again and mentions a sustainability award. This has established the new attraction as a regular feature at major Dutch funfairs in a short time.

Who is Adventure Bay for?
This walk-through attraction is aimed at families, teenagers and adults who enjoy being active. As you make your way around on foot, the experience feels different from a ride with fixed seats. For children, the rules about supervision and access displayed at the entrance are important. If you don't enjoy climbing or balancing on moving obstacles, consider whether the course is right for you.
A funhouse is a great talking point when visiting a funfair together: everyone experiences the obstacles a little differently. If you enjoy making your way through tropical obstacles, you'll find other walk-through adventures in our attraction overview.
