Rinteln – Rintelner Herbstmesse 2027

According to the municipal market regulations, the Rintelner Herbstmesse 2027 is expected to take place from Friday, 5 November, to Monday, 8 November 2027. The city sets the start of its fairs for the Friday before the first Sunday of the month on which shops are open, and the end for the following Monday. A fair calendar, however, already lists Thursday as the start date. As a separate official announcement for November 2027 is still unavailable, this preview follows the municipal regulations and marks the dates as provisional.

Rintelner Herbstmesse 2027: Funfair in the old town

Rinteln on the Weser combines the special atmosphere of its historic town centre with the tradition of an autumn funfair. Rides, market stalls and food and drink stands usually attract visitors to and around the Market Square and Church Square. The city describes the autumn fair as one of its major event highlights. Its setting among historic façades also makes a visit special: you can stroll through the town centre and explore different parts of the funfair.

Rintelner Herbstmesse 2027: Dates and market times

The municipal regulations specify fixed operating hours for the regular fair days, which you can find in the opening hours overview. Exceptions may be made in individual cases. For example, the funfair opened earlier on the Sunday when shops were open last year. A current announcement must confirm whether this also applies to 2027. For your planning, the later information from the city about the exact opening time and special activities is therefore important.

Rides, market stalls and funfair entertainment

The event traditionally offers a mix of larger rides, attractions for children, market traders and food and drink. The names of individual rides or showmen for the 2027 edition cannot yet be confirmed. For this reason, rides from the previous year are not automatically attributed to this event. Once an up-to-date list of rides is published, the actual appearances can be added. This makes it clear which rides were at Rinteln in an earlier year and which were there in 2027.

Programme and tips for your visit

Previous autumn fairs have included a ceremonial opening, special offers and a Sunday when shops were open. These programme items have not yet been officially confirmed in the same form for 2027. For this reason, you will not find any made-up times for fireworks or a family day either. If you are planning a visit with children, it is worth comparing the daily activities once they are announced and allowing plenty of time to explore.
