Großefehn – Martinimarkt 2027
What to expect
The Martinimarkt Großefehn 2027 is scheduled from 5 to 7 November 2027. The Verein reisender Schausteller Ostfriesland specifically states that this edition runs from Friday to Sunday. This differs from another funfair listing, which gives the dates as 12 to 14 November. This preview follows the showmen's association's dates, as this is the more specific source close to the event. The traditional fair in Ostgroßefehn is one of the region's popular November meeting places.
Martinimarkt Großefehn 2027: meeting place at the market square
According to the showmen's association, the event takes place at the market square in Großefehn. Its established location in Ostgroßefehn is easy to find thanks to its central position. The event combines the typical fairground atmosphere with attractions for different age groups. Families can spend time together here, while visitors move between rides, market stalls and food and drink stands.
Rides and funfair entertainment in Großefehn
The showmen's association's event description specifically mentions bumper cars as an example of the rides on offer. There are also other attractions for all ages. However, this does not confirm a specific operator or identify a particular physical ride. For this reason, the general term bumper cars is not linked to any existing profile. A complete line-up of rides for 2027 has not yet been published. Only clear operator details allow us to make such links.

The showmen's association's current event description announces a traditional opening by the mayor on Friday evening. It also mentions a flea market, fireworks and a lantern parade, in which children are expected to walk through the town. Shopping at local shops is also planned for Sunday. However, exact start times for these activities are not yet available. To help you plan your journey reliably, the programme overview shows only the days that have been confirmed, not estimated times added later.
Opening times and information for families
The organiser confirms the three funfair days, but has not provided full daily opening times for the rides. Accordingly, no timetable is available in this preview yet. If you are planning to come for the lantern parade or fireworks, check the latest announcements shortly before travelling. The organiser may publish details there that are not available yet. It is also worth checking for updates on admission and individual ride prices.
