Kermis Ophasselt 2027 has its fair day on Sunday, 2 May 2027, in accordance with the official annual rule. Ophasselt fair 2027: Why 2 May is observed
The key reference point is Ascension Day: according to the municipal annual rule, the spring funfair in Ophasselt takes place on the Sunday before. Ascension Day falls on Thursday, 6 May, in 2027. This gives Sunday, 2 May. At present, only this main day is confirmed. A longer period shown in unofficial calendars does not confirm any additional opening days.
Ophasselt and its own funfair tradition
Ophasselt is part of Geraardsbergen in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The official events calendar lists the funfairs in the various sub-municipalities separately. So you should not confuse the funfair in Ophasselt with a neighbouring municipality’s spring funfair or with the event in the centre of Geraardsbergen. The Ophasselt September funfair is also a separate edition.
Kermis Ophasselt 2027: What can you expect?
There is currently no official list of rides and showmen for May 2027. It is therefore not possible to say reliably whether particular carousels, activities for children or game stalls will be there. The same applies to food and drink options, ride prices and any possible discount for families. Specific details will only be included once they have been confirmed for the 2027 edition.
Opening hours and special dates

Sunday is calculated as the event date, not guaranteed to be a full day of operation.
Where does the funfair take place?
The centre of Ophasselt is listed as a geographical reference point. However, the exact location and a site plan for 2027 have not yet been confirmed.
