What to expect
Herbstsend Münster 2027 takes place from Saturday, 23 October, to Sunday, 31 October 2027, at Schlossplatz. The City of Münster has already officially announced these dates. This confirms the dates for the major autumn fair, while opening times, the line-up of rides and special events for 2027 have not yet been announced.
Herbstsend Münster 2027: official dates at Schlossplatz
The Send is one of Münster's traditional fairs and takes place every year as a spring, summer and autumn event. Schlossplatz, directly in front of the palace, is its well-known venue. The dates for 2027 are listed on the official Send page of the City of Münster. You can therefore already plan your visit for the nine event days. However, bear in mind that the city still needs to publish the daily programme for the upcoming autumn event separately.
Rides and showmen at Herbstsend
According to the city, around 162 showmen took part in 2026. The attractions named at the time included a large propeller ride, a Ferris wheel, a ghost train and children's rides. This illustrates the variety that has traditionally made the Send what it is. The rides that will actually be at Schlossplatz in 2027 have not yet been officially announced. We therefore do not present the line-up of rides from 2026 as a list of participants for the new year.
Herbstsend Münster 2027: opening times and special days
No official daily opening times for 2027 have been announced yet. The times shown on this page are based on the usual opening days of Herbstsend 2026. At the time, there was an earlier start on the first Sunday and longer opening times on Friday and Saturday. The special rule for All Saints' Day 2026 cannot be carried over unchanged: 1 November falls 2027 after the event ends. The time on the final event day also still needs to be confirmed.
Family day, activities and fireworks
In previous years, discount offers and fireworks were part of the Herbstsend programme. The city has not yet published confirmed dates for a family day, fireworks or other special activities in 2027. Current prices for individual rides are also unavailable. This information can be added once the city announces the new programme. Until then, you should not count on special discounts or a particular fireworks display.
Getting there and practical information
Schlossplatz is easy to reach from the city centre. If travelling by public transport, you can check bus connections from the main railway station. The city recommended, among others, the Schlossplatz and Landgericht stops for 2026. Before your visit, check the latest travel information and look out for possible restrictions due to the set-up.
