Duisburg-Beeck – Beecker Kirmes 2027
What to expect
The Beecker Kirmes 2027 takes place from 2 to 6 July 2027 in Duisburg-Beeck. The official organisers have already published the date for the next edition. You can look forward to five days of funfair atmosphere around Beecker Marktplatz. Alongside rides, there are game stalls, food and drink, and the chance to meet friends as you stroll through northern Duisburg.
Beecker Kirmes 2027: Five days in Duisburg-Beeck
Beecker Kirmes is one of the traditional fairs on the Lower Rhine. According to the organisers, its origins date back to 1539. Today, it combines this historic heritage with a varied funfair. The site covers Beecker Marktplatz and the surrounding streets. This means you can explore the funfair on foot without having to travel between widely separated fairgrounds.
Rides and family fun
The typical offering includes larger rides, children's carousels, games and entertainment, as well as food and drink stalls. However, there is not yet an official, complete list confirming which showmen will actually attend in July 2027. For this reason, attractions are not listed as participants solely because they appeared at previous editions. Individual rides can be confirmed once the current site plan is available.
Beecker Kirmes 2027: Opening times and admission
The five funfair days have been confirmed for the new edition. The different daily opening times currently come from the official 2026 edition and have been matched to the corresponding days of the week. Opening times are provisional, as of 2026. Entry to the funfair is free, while rides, games and food and drink must be paid for separately. If you plan to visit in the evening, check in advance whether the organisers have since published new times for 2027.
Traditional programme highlights
Previous editions of Beecker Kirmes offered family activities, music and a special finale alongside the regular rides. It has not yet been clearly announced whether there will be fireworks or a family day again in 2027. We therefore deliberately do not list these popular highlights as confirmed events. Details of admission requirements for any special events will also be added only once the organisers have announced them.
Getting to Beecker Marktplatz
Duisburg Kontor recommends tram line 901 and bus route 907 for travelling by public transport. The Beeck Denkmal stop is conveniently located for the fairground. The district can also be reached via the A42, Duisburg-Beeck exit. Road closures and limited parking may occur while the funfair is running.
