Along with Dreifaltigkeitskirmes, Viktorkirmes is one of Dülmen’s major fairs. The fairground stretches across the market square and other streets in the town centre. The Nonnengasse car park and adjacent areas are traditionally part of it too. This creates a continuous funfair area. The town lists the dates in its service portal as Friday to Monday on the second weekend in October. For 2027, this means 8 to 11 October.
Rides for families and thrill-seekers
The town regularly lists more than 70 showmen and exhibitors at its funfairs. Attractions include large circular rides, family attractions and children’s carousels. There are also shooting, lottery and gaming stalls. However, no current line-up of rides for October 2027 is available yet. As a result, no specific attraction can yet be confirmed as a participant. Attraction profiles can only be linked once reliable evidence is available for the relevant year.
Viktorkirmes Dülmen 2027: opening times
The town of Dülmen publishes a set daily schedule for its annual Viktorkirmes. According to this, the funfair opens on Friday afternoon and runs until late at night. On Saturday, it also stays open until midnight. On Sunday, the funfair opens in the morning; on Monday, it closes in the evening. The full official times are listed in the MEC opening times schedule. If the town announces any changes for 2027, the daily schedules will be updated.
Traditional opening and family day
In previous years, Viktorkirmes began with an official opening near Nonnengasse. Children and young people were sometimes given free ride tokens. The town also explicitly describes Monday as a traditional family day with reduced prices. This makes the final day of the funfair especially worthwhile for families. The exact discounts and any additional activities for 2027 have not yet been announced.
Funfair treats and a stroll around town
Numerous stalls around the rides serve funfair favourites and other food. These include roasted almonds, crêpes, waffles, bratwurst and fried fish. There is also a range of international street food. A visit can easily be combined with a stroll through Dülmen’s pedestrian zone. Based on previous practice, access to the public funfair area is free; each ride and purchase is charged separately.

The fair takes place in the heart of 48249 Dülmen. The market square is a useful landmark. As several streets in the town centre become part of the event site, access by car may be restricted.
