Didam – Meikermis 2027

Meikermis Didam 2027 is confirmed for Sunday, 2 May, and Monday, 3 May 2027, in the Dutch town of Didam. The municipality of Montferland explicitly names these two days in an official site permit from October 2026. You can therefore make a note of the dates for a funfair visit. Whether the showmen will also start on Saturday or continue on Tuesday has not yet been officially confirmed for 2027.

Meikermis Didam 2027 at Lieve Vrouweplein

The traditional meeting place is around Lieve Vrouweplein in the town centre. Earlier editions of Meikermis were also held there. The official permit for a sales stall during the spring funfair names Wilhelminastraat and Lieve Vrouweplein. This makes the area the best landmark for your journey. However, a full site plan for 2027 has not yet been published.

Rides and funfair

In recent years, rides, games and typical funfair treats have been part of the festivities in Didam. However, it is not yet known which specific attractions will be coming to 2027. No current official line-up of rides has been published. We are therefore deliberately not naming any specific rides as confirmed participants. Once the town or the showmen publish their list, it will be possible to give a clearer picture of what is on offer.

Meikermis Didam 2027 opening times

The actual opening times of the rides for the two confirmed days have not yet been officially announced. The time stated on a sales stall permit is not a general funfair opening time. The schedule therefore remains without specific times for now. It is also not yet clear whether there will be a special opening day, a family day or a low-sensory period.

Celebrations and refreshments in the town centre

The Didam funfair is traditionally also an occasion for social gatherings at local restaurants and cafés. Earlier editions also featured music and events in pubs. However, no confirmed performance dates, admission prices for individual celebrations or programme items have yet been announced for 2027. For now, plan your visit to the funfair site separately from any possible evening programme. Information on admission and ride prices will be added as soon as it is officially available.

Getting to Didam

Didam is in the municipality of Montferland in Gelderland. Lieve Vrouweplein is a useful landmark when finding your way around. If you are travelling by car, check for information on road closures and parking in the centre shortly before the event. If you are travelling by public transport, check the latest connections too. No special traffic arrangements for 2027 have been published so far.
