Lommel – Carnavalkermis 2027

The Carnavalkermis Lommel 2027 is expected to run from Sunday, 7 February, to Tuesday, 9 February 2027. These dates come from a specialist funfair calendar and have not yet been confirmed by the City of Lommel for 2027. Around Kerkplein in the town centre, you can traditionally combine a short visit to the funfair with the carnival season. Access to the public grounds is usually free.

Carnavalkermis Lommel 2027: funfair at Kerkplein

Kerkplein is a central meeting place in Lommel. The square is near Sint-Pietersbandenkerk and the shopping street Kerkstraat. This makes the small funfair well suited to families and visitors from the surrounding area. The city publishes an official annual calendar of its funfairs. For the 2026 edition, the carnival funfair was listed for 14 to 16 February. However, the new dates for 2027 are not currently included in this municipal overview.

Rides and carnival atmosphere in the town centre

Small Belgian carnival funfairs combine rides with stalls selling goods and offering games. Depending on the actual allocation of space, these may include children's carousels, skill games and sweets. Carnival associations in Lommel also traditionally celebrate with various activities. A specific list of rides for February 2027 has not yet been published. We therefore do not list attractions from previous editions as confirmed appearances. The illustrative image is for illustrative purposes only and explicitly does not show this funfair.

Carnavalkermis Lommel 2027: opening times

Official opening and closing times for the funfair businesses from 7 to 9 February 2027 are not yet available. Nor is a complete daily schedule from the previous year confirmed. The event calendar therefore does not include an invented timetable. Opening times on Monday and Tuesday in particular may differ from those at the weekend. The dates shown in the calendar are also provisional until the city publishes its new funfair calendar. Please check the latest information before travelling.

Admission, prices and family tips

There is usually no general admission charge for visiting the funfair on the publicly accessible Kerkplein. Individual rides, games and food and drink must be paid for separately. Prices depend on the participating showmen. Special offers may also be available on family or carnival days. However, no such discounts have been confirmed for 2027. We therefore do not list package prices or an unconfirmed family day as part of the programme.
