Wormser Pfingstmarkt 2027: The Whitsun fair is expected to run from Saturday, 15 May to Sunday, 23 May 2027, inviting you to the Worms festival grounds on the Rhine. The nine-day period matches the traditional length of the last edition. However, the official Worms tourism company has not yet announced a date of its own for 2027 in its events overview. This period therefore remains provisional until confirmed by the organiser.

Wormser Pfingstmarkt 2027: Fairground and atmosphere

The funfair covers the large festival grounds on the Rhine, right by the Rhine bridges. For navigation, use Kastanienallee in Worms. Many visitors know the site from the much larger Wormser Backfischfest. During the Whitsun fair, it is also filled with rides, stalls and food and drink outlets. The spacious paths let you move between thrilling attractions, traditional games and quieter dining areas. The riverside setting also provides a special backdrop for your visit.

Rides, children's attractions and new additions

For the 2026 edition, Worms erleben named several well-known rides, including the giant swing ride Air Power, the Musik-Express, the water ride Rapidos River Rafting, the Ferris wheel Colossus and the bumper cars Electric Avenue. Mama Caramba was also there at the time. This list applies only to the previous year; it does not mean these rides are confirmed for the 2027 edition. A complete new line-up of rides has not yet been officially published. The attractions are put together afresh each year.

Food and drink, game stalls and family activities

The Whitsun fair is known for combining a funfair with a family programme. Sweets, savoury snacks, drinks and places to sit are all part of the visit. You can take a break between rides and then explore the various stalls. The city also organised children's activities and musical performances on a stage in 2026. Which performers and activities will feature in 2027 remains unknown until the new programme is published.

Wormser Pfingstmarkt 2027: Dates and opening times

Nine days of festivities are planned from 15 to 23 May 2027. So far, only the previous year's official schedule for daily opening times is available. It distinguished between weekdays, Friday and Saturday, the Whitsun public holidays and the final Sunday. The times have therefore been transferred to the events calendar provisionally from the 2026 edition. Provisional opening times, as of 2026. Tradition and special programme

In 2026, the announced highlights included an official opening, a family day with discounted ride prices, live music and a musical fireworks display. These features are a special attraction for visitors. However, they do not constitute a confirmed programme for 2027. The individual days, performers and activities may change. Programme details have deliberately been left blank until a current announcement is published.

Admission, parking and how to get there

The fairground is on the Rhine, at Kastanienallee or Am Rhein in 67547 Worms. It lies east of the city centre. If you arrive by train, you can continue from Worms main station on foot, by bus or using other local transport. Due to visitor numbers, you should check the latest traffic and parking information.
