Wolsdorfer Kirmes 2027: From Friday, 21 May, to Sunday, 23 May 2027, Siegburg-Wolsdorf will once again celebrate its traditional funfair. Junggesellenverein und Männerreih Rosenhügel von 1923 e. V. has already expressly confirmed these dates. Contrary to what older funfair calendars say, the 2027 edition will therefore take place on the weekend after Whitsun.
Wolsdorfer Kirmes 2027 on Jakobstraße
Jakobstraße in Siegburg's Wolsdorf district is the centre of the celebrations for three days. Traditional funfair attractions go hand in hand with the involvement of local associations. The two young men's associations and May traditions are particularly important. Stages and stalls also create an atmosphere where neighbours, families and visitors from the surrounding area can meet.
The organiser is Junggesellenverein Rosenhügel. It puts on the event together with other associations and also invites showmen, market traders and caterers to apply. This keeps Wolsdorfer Kirmes a neighbourhood event with a personal touch. However, the exact line-up of attractions for 2027 has not yet been announced.
Rides, games stalls and family activities
The traditional offering includes smaller rides, children's activities, games stalls and food stalls. The associations also provide music and welcoming places to meet. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll or experience the funfair together with friends and family. The exact rides and showmen for 2027 have not yet been confirmed. Parade, funfair Olympics and Paias
Wolsdorf's traditions include the funfair Olympics on Saturday, a parade with May king and queen couples on Sunday, and the Paias, a symbolic funfair figure. The Paias is traditionally sentenced and burned at the end of the celebrations. These rituals were also part of the 2026 edition. The exact times for 2027 have not yet been announced, so they are not listed as confirmed programme items.
Admission and getting to Jakobstraße
As in previous years, the public funfair area is free to enter. Rides, food and individual activities may incur charges. Jakobstraße is in 53721 Siegburg-Wolsdorf.
