Pinksterkermis Wenduine 2027 is part of the Whitsun programme on the Belgian coast under the current funfair regulations of the municipality of De Haan. The official annual regulations set the dates for 2027 as Friday, 14 May, to Sunday, 23 May. The market square in the town centre brings together a funfair atmosphere and a trip to the North Sea. Pinksterkermis Wenduine 2027: ten days under municipal regulations

The municipality explicitly sets the dates of the Whitsun funfair from the Friday before Whitsun to the Sunday after Whitsun. This means it runs longer than just the Whitsun weekend. Whitsun Sunday falls on 16 May in 2027, and Whit Monday on 17 May. The dates follow the municipal regulations still in force and have not yet been confirmed in a separate announcement for the 2027 edition. Details may change as a result of later official decisions.

Pinksterkermis Wenduine 2027: funfair site on the market square

The funfair is in the centre of the coastal town of Wenduine, which is part of the municipality of De Haan in West Flanders. The market square is also the site of the separate Halloween funfair in autumn. The two events should not be confused. For the Whitsun funfair, the market square is a useful landmark, while a detailed site plan and the exact layout of the attractions for 2027 are not yet available.

Rides and stalls at Whitsun

No official line-up of rides has yet been confirmed for Pinksterkermis Wenduine 2027. It is therefore not yet clear which rides, children's attractions, games stalls or catering businesses will actually be there. The funfair regulations set out the general rules for admitting rides and funfair catering. However, they do not provide a specific list of attractions. If you want to travel to the funfair for a particular ride, wait for the participating showmen to be announced.

Opening times and a special feature on Whit Monday

The municipality lists general opening hours for its funfairs. One important exception specifically concerns Whit Monday: on this day, Pinksterkermis only opens after the Zeewijdingsprocessie, the traditional sea blessing procession. As no confirmed finishing time for it has been published for 2027, no start time has been invented for Monday in the schedule. Visiting, getting there and admission

Wenduine is a coastal town where you can easily combine a visit with a walk towards the beach. If you are travelling by public transport, check the latest De Lijn services; the municipality provides information about buses and trams. No reliable information is yet available about admission, individual ride prices or special events for 2027. So allow for some flexibility and check for possible road closures around the market square before you travel.
