Nevele – Sinksenkermis 2027

Sinksenkermis Nevele 2027 is scheduled as a Whitsun funfair in the Belgian town of Nevele from Saturday, 15 May to Monday, 17 May 2027. It follows the annual Whitsun cycle: the City of Deinze specifically lists the Sinksenkermis for 2026 from 23 to 25 May, that is, from Whitsun Saturday to Whitsun Monday. A separate announcement for the 2027 edition has not yet been published. So before you travel, check the latest updates from the city and the festival committee.

Sinksenkermis Nevele 2027: Funfair in the village centre

Nevele is part of the City of Deinze in East Flanders. The historic centre around Nevelemarkt is the traditional meeting place during Whitsun. This is where the funfair and local community life come together. Nevelemarkt is listed as the venue to help you find your way; the exact site layout for 2027 has not yet been published.

Sinksenkermis is not a large city funfair with endless rows of rides. Instead, the focus is on a familiar village fair: families meet up, children look forward to rides, and the event offers a chance to spend time together. The attractions and showmen actually coming to 2027 have not yet been officially announced. We therefore deliberately do not list attractions from previous editions as a confirmed line-up of rides.

Tradition around Whitsun

The Sinksenstoet, a procession featuring local groups and figures, is traditionally part of the Whitsun celebrations in Nevele. The festival committee Niet Versaegen organised, among other things, the opening of the Foor and a procession through the town-centre streets in 2026. However, this programme is not a confirmed schedule for 2027. You will only know whether there will be another procession, a ball toss or other activities once the official announcement is made.

The times have not yet been confirmed either. In 2026, the committee announced that the Foor would open at 16 on Saturday. This is a useful look back, but it is not a guaranteed daily opening time for the coming year. Specific opening times can be added as soon as a new schedule is available.

Sinksenkermis Nevele 2027: Getting there and planning your visit

For now, you can use Nevelemarkt in the centre of Nevele as your destination. As the exact site plan is not yet available, check for possible road closures or changes to bus stops shortly before your visit. Information about parking and special arrangements for 2027 has not yet been published.

Access to the fairground, any admission arrangements and ride prices for 2027 have also not yet been officially announced. So plan a flexible budget rather than relying on prices from previous years. If you are travelling with children, it is a good idea to check the opening times and final programme shortly before Whitsun.
