Meulebeke – Kleine Kermis 2027
What to expect
Kleine Kermis Meulebeke 2027 is scheduled from Friday, 21 May, to Monday, 24 May 2027, in accordance with the city of Tielt's current funfair regulations. The key date is the Sunday after Pentecost. The city has formally set out this annual schedule; a separate announcement with all the details of the 2027 edition has not yet been issued.
Kleine Kermis Meulebeke 2027: dates after Pentecost
In 2027, Pentecost Sunday falls on 16 May. One week later, Sunday, 23 May, is the main day of Kleine Kermis. The city regulations, adopted on 18 December 2025 and in force since January 2026, explicitly set this event to run from Friday to Monday. This gives the dates 21 to 24 May 2027. The city may change the dates in individual cases. This calculation is therefore a reliable guide, but it is not yet a separate date announcement for 2027.
The market as a funfair site
The Kleine Kermis takes place in the centre of Meulebeke, which is now part of the city of Tielt in West Flanders. The regulations list the market square in Meulebeke as the venue. The 2026 edition of the funfair was also held at Meulebeke Plaats, in the area in front of the town hall. You can therefore use this central square as a guide when planning your visit. It is not yet known how the individual stalls 2027 will be arranged or whether any roads will be temporarily closed.
Kleine Kermis Meulebeke 2027: rides
At a local funfair, the showmen and their stalls take centre stage. However, the town has not yet announced which specific carousels, children's attractions, game stalls or food and drink stalls will be there this time for 2027. We do not carry over attraction names from previous years. Only a current official line-up of rides can provide a reliable overview of the stalls actually taking part.
Three different funfairs in Meulebeke
In Meulebeke, make sure you distinguish between the dates. The town separates the Voorjaarsfoor before Easter, the Kleine Kermis after Whitsun and the Grote Kermis in September. Each event has its own date and tradition. If you are specifically looking for the Whitsun period, the Kleine Kermis is the one for you. You can find other dates in our funfair calendar.
Opening hours, admission and programme
No confirmed daily opening and closing times are available yet for 2027. The regulations set out general operating requirements, but no individual schedule for visitors; therefore, we do not show these minimum times as opening hours. The edition 2026, published by the local organiser, was free to attend. Whether admission will also be free for 2027, and what the ride prices will be, have not been specifically confirmed yet. No special programme items or promotional days have been announced either.
Getting there and latest information
The market in the centre of Meulebeke is the best starting point for finding your way around. Before travelling, check the latest traffic arrangements and any parking restrictions, as an event site may not be usable as usual during set-up. The final details for 2027 will be announced by the town. The official funfair overview from the City of Tielt explains the annual dates and event location.
