Booster Zeus – Bigolet
40-metre-tall Fabbri booster with rotating gondolas
Operator: Bigolet (France)
Booster Zeus Bigolet is a travelling overhead ride made by the Italian manufacturer Fabbri. Its long arm rotates around a horizontal axis. Gondolas are attached at both ends, and they make additional movements during the ride. This creates a rapid succession of high speed, open views over the fairground and unexpected changes of direction. In France, the ride is also known as Avenger.

What to expect
- Multi-axis rotation
Zeus combines the height of a large arm with complete rotations – a striking experience for seasoned thrill-seekers.
The ride experience on Booster Zeus Bigolet
The unusual layout is clear as soon as you board: the two gondolas are at opposite ends of the long arm. As it starts moving, one gondola rises while the other moves downwards. Full rotations follow. As the gondolas also move independently, the view keeps changing. The combination of height and flips makes Zeus a ride for dedicated thrill-seekers.
The moment when the fairground opens up beneath the riders is particularly impressive. Shortly afterwards, the gondola swings further, and the surroundings pass by in a different direction. This makes the ride quite unlike traditional roundabout rides. Its movement is also easy to follow from the outside, as the long arm can be seen above the other attractions.

Organiser and special features
Under Bigolet, Zeus regularly appears at French fairs. The ride is designed for travelling use. This means the tall arm can be dismantled for transport and rebuilt at a new fairground. Its striking silhouette nevertheless remains unmistakable. With its two gondolas and complete rotations, Zeus is a classic example of the Booster type.
Who is Zeus suitable for?
Zeus is for visitors who enjoy high speeds and going upside down. If you prefer a gentle roundabout ride, you will find other attractions at the fairground. For experienced funfair-goers, the combination of great height and rotating gondolas is especially appealing. Before boarding, check the current notices about height, health and safety requirements.
The Booster is also eye-catching to watch. The two gondolas at the ends of the arm make the ride's movements easy to see. So you can understand how it works before taking a ride yourself. Find more similar rides in our overview of rides.
