Melsele – Kleine Kermis 2027

Under the current municipal funfair regulations, the Kleine Kermis Melsele 2027 is scheduled to run from Saturday, 24 April to Monday, 26 April 2027. The traditional meeting place is Kerkplein in Melsele, Belgium, a district of Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht. The municipality has not yet announced a separate daily programme for the 2027 edition; the dates are based on the official annual regulation.

Kleine Kermis Melsele 2027: Official dates

The funfair regulations adopted in November 2025 set the dates for the Kleine Kermis based on the last Sunday in April. They provide for the preceding Saturday, the Sunday itself and the following Monday. According to the regulations, the funfair is extended to Tuesday or Wednesday only if 1 May falls on one of those days. In 2027, however, 1 May is a Saturday. The rule therefore gives a period from 24 to 26 April.

The general municipal website shows the older edition 2026 together with a shortened description of the date rule. The more precise version of the municipal regulations therefore applies when calculating the dates for edition 2027. The municipality may still change the schedule by setting different dates later.

At Kerkplein in the centre of Melsele

The funfair regulations explicitly name Kerkplein as the event venue. You can therefore use this square in the centre of Melsele as your reference point when travelling there. The municipality also provides a separate map of the funfair pitches. It has not yet been announced which stalls will be allocated which pitches in April 2027.

The Kleine Kermis should not be confused with the Grote Kermis in Melsele. The latter takes place in September according to a different annual rule. If you are planning a spring visit, the late-April date is the right one.

Rides, programme and prices

No official line-up of rides for 2027 is available yet. Individual rides, children's attractions and food stalls have therefore not yet been confirmed by name. There is also no up-to-date programme or reliable information about special offers or a family day. Admission conditions and ride prices for edition 2027 are not yet known either.

Kleine Kermis Melsele 2027: opening times

Exact daily opening times have not yet been announced for the three days of the funfair. Officially confirmed opening times from the previous year are also unavailable. The dates are therefore listed without made-up times. This is particularly important because the showmen's set-up times are not the same as the opening times for visitors.

How to prepare for your visit

Kerkplein is in the centre of Melsele, postcode 9120. As the square is used for the funfair, parking directly there may be limited. No specific traffic arrangements for April 2027 have been announced yet. Allow some extra time and follow the signs when you arrive.
