Vilvoorde – Troostkermis 2027

Troostkermis Vilvoorde 2027 runs from Saturday, 17 April, to Sunday, 25 April 2027. The City of Vilvoorde has explicitly confirmed these dates. The traditional Jaarmarkt is also part of the event and has been announced for Monday, 19 April 2027. If you are planning to visit the funfair, you can already note down the dates. However, the daily opening hours and the exact line-up of rides for 2027 have not yet been officially published.

Troostkermis Vilvoorde 2027: dates and festival areas

Troostkermis is part of Vilvoorde's annual festivities. In the previous edition 2026, the showmen were spread across the Grote Markt, Franklin Rooseveltlaan and the Tyndale car park. These three locations are therefore a useful guide, but they are not yet a confirmed list of sites for 2027. For now, we are using Franklin Rooseveltlaan as the map point. Once the city announces the new site plan, the actual locations can be checked more accurately.

Jaarmarkt on 19 April: what is already confirmed

Vilvoorde's Jaarmarkt has traditionally been closely associated with Troostkermis. The city has already confirmed the date as Monday, 19 April 2027. The traditional market typically features agricultural competitions, market stalls and gatherings in the city centre. However, the activities, market areas and performances taking place in 2027 will only be confirmed once a dedicated programme is published. That is why you will not find any made-up times here for the Jaarmarkt or the rides.

Troostkermis Vilvoorde 2027: rides and opening hours

A visit is especially worthwhile if you allow enough time to explore the different funfair areas. It has not yet been officially confirmed which children's rides, round rides, game stalls and food stalls will be there for 2027. Previous line-ups can give you an idea, but do not guarantee what will be there at the new edition. There is also no reliable information yet for 2027 about daily opening and closing times, possible family days or prices. We are therefore deliberately leaving the timetable open.

The event takes place within the city of Vilvoorde. When travelling there, bear in mind that a multi-day event spread across several sites may affect traffic arrangements.
