Fire Fighters – Daniel de Voer

Fire station funhouse with obstacles and spiral slide

Operator: Daniel de Voer (Netherlands)

ManufacturerGosetto
Year built2025

Fire Fighters de Voer is a mobile walk-through attraction with a fire brigade theme. Instead of taking you along the course in a car, this attraction invites you to walk through an imaginatively designed fire station yourself. With obstacles, stairways and a long slide, movement is at the heart of the experience. For families who want more than just a ride on the funfair, this attraction offers a varied alternative.

Highlights & records

Fire station theme, obstacle course and long spiral slide. An enlarged version was announced for 2026; exact dimensions have not been confirmed.

An active family experience in a fire service setting, rather than a traditional carousel ride.

Experience Fire Fighters de Voer

The fire station design stands out straight away. The concept is deliberately playful: you take on the role of a firefighting hero and make your way through an obstacle course. The different stations require movements you wouldn't make on an ordinary walk. Instead, you have to balance, climb and overcome various obstacles. One of the eye-catching features is a long spiral slide.

The challenge is not comparable to a high ride or a roller coaster. The appeal comes from being active, tackling different challenges and making your way through the course together. This can give families plenty to talk about, as everyone tackles the obstacles a little differently. You can find out at the entrance how many stations are currently set up and what rules apply.

Fire Fighters at the next fair

As a travelling funhouse, Fire Fighters visits various venues. Its announcement by name for Lichtenberger Winterzeit 2026 is a current indication; other tour stops need to be checked individually. You can find more funfairs and winter markets in the Kirmes calendar.

The history of Fire Fighters de Voer

The attraction was presented as a new ride at Dutch funfairs in 2025. According to a report by Looopings, operator Daniel de Voer ordered the multi-storey funhouse from Italian manufacturer Gosetto. It made its debut in April 2025 in The Hague. The fire station theme was already a central part of its design. The report named FunLed as the company responsible for the lighting.

The operator spoke about possible expansions when the attraction was first introduced. The organisers announced a significantly enlarged version of the funhouse for Lichtenberger Winterzeit 2026. However, without a technical inspection, you shouldn't infer any specific new dimensions or a fixed number of obstacle course stations. This profile is about the Fire Fighters documented under De Voer's name, not other fire service-themed walk-through attractions.

Who is the fire station funhouse for?

Fire Fighters de Voer is mainly for visitors who like being active and making their way through an obstacle course. For younger children, it's important to check whether they can manage the different stations on their own and what rules apply to accompanying adults. Check the current age and height restrictions before paying. You should also wear comfortable shoes and keep loose items secure.

If you'd like to get an idea of what to expect before deciding, watch how people make their way through the funhouse. Unlike a ride with a set programme, your own pace partly determines the experience. On busy days, there may be short waits at popular obstacles. That's part of the experience at walk-through funfair attractions.
