Features of Kaleidoskop Böttger
The attraction is listed as Häsler’s own construction and dates from 2007. Its documented footprint is about 15 by 11,5 metres; its height is given as ten metres. This makes Kaleidoskop highly visible, but not a huge high-rise ride. Its category as a walkthrough attraction is key to identifying it correctly in a funfair line-up of rides.
The attraction is currently associated with Marcel Böttger from Hamburg. When looking for photos and earlier appearances, bear in mind that the same attraction previously had a different name. The former name Psychodelic may appear in archives and historical ride lists. Such name changes make it especially important to check carefully that you have identified the right attraction.
The experience at Kaleidoskop Böttger
Kaleidoskop Böttger belongs to the category of walk-through attractions and funhouses. Unlike on a roller coaster, you do not sit in a car here. The experience of walking through is what matters. You move through the attraction yourself. You can take in the different areas at your own pace, as far as visitor flow allows.
A walkthrough attraction is particularly appealing to fairgoers looking for a different kind of entertainment between fast rides. You experience the structure at close quarters, rather than just from a distance. However, the verified basic data do not reveal which specific effects are currently included. For this reason, no specific obstacles or mirror rooms are mentioned, as these may belong to a different attraction.

History from its debut to the present day
The first documented season began 2007 at the Michaelismesse in Gütersloh. Initially, the walkthrough attraction travelled with Häsler & Sohn from Munich. The records also show a stop in Belgium with Bodet in 2014. Nier from Kassel is then listed for the period from 2018 to October 2022. The attraction later changed hands to Marcel Böttger.
The historical name Psychodelic was used until 2017. This explains why a picture search for Kaleidoskop alone may not find every photograph of the same attraction. When using historical images editorially, the identity of the attraction, as well as the year and location of the photograph and usage rights, must be checked.

Who is the visit suitable for?
If you enjoy trying funfair attractions that are about more than just speed and height, a walkthrough attraction can be a welcome change. Check the latest information on site to see whether it is suitable for younger children or people with limited mobility. The verified sources do not provide reliable general age or height restrictions.
For photos, the front view is particularly worthwhile, as it clearly documents the specific ride. Don’t confuse it with similarly named attractions operated by other showmen. You can find more examples of walk-through and funhouse attractions in our overview of attractions.
