The ride experience: how the Mondial Escape works
The Escape model combines a rotating platform with additional rotating gondola crosses. Two-seat gondolas hang from them. When you ride, the movements of the platform, crosses and gondolas overlap. Mondial describes different rotation directions for the gondolas and a ride sequence whose speed can be adjusted.
This description explains how the original model works. How the ride will be designed and operated in detail under the name Inception remains to be seen until the redesigned ride is unveiled.

History: from Escape to Inception
The ride opened as Escape – Flight of Fear under Köhrmann in 2022. It made its debut in July at Düsseldorf's Rheinkirmes. The FKF recognised its elaborate design with its award in the funfair category for the 2022 new-ride season.
After the ride was sold, the relaunch as Inception under Thomas Weber and Kevin Tröger was announced for 2027. The new name still refers to the same physical ride. A change of operator and redesign do not change its year of construction.
