Ride experience on The Flying Airdance
The Flying Airdance takes children for a circular ride in a vertical plane in a shared gondola. As the gondola moves up and down, the passengers remain seated upright. This creates a different sensation from a swing ride: the row of seats does not hang freely from long chains or circle a tall tower. You can clearly see how the ride works from the edge. Watch with your child as the gondola changes height and see which seats are available.

Technology and data
The following values describe the specifically named attraction. Set-up dimensions refer to the assembled ride; for rides that rise, the maximum movement height does not indicate the free-fall distance. The number of seats describes simultaneous occupancy, not hourly passenger capacity.
| Manufacturer | SBF |
|---|---|
| Model | Flying Bus |
| Year built | 1996 |
| Front length (m) | 13 |
| Depth (m) | 4 |
The actual ride duration and programme may vary between engagements. Check the information at the ride if you want to experience a particular ride variation.
History of The Flying Airdance
SBF built the ride in 1996 as a Flying Bus. Ride-Index lists S. Benning of Rheine as the current showman operator. Arno Ernst and later M. Wilhelm are documented as previous operators. An older ride called Flying Airdance is a different entry, both technically and historically.

Tips for your visit
Talk with your child about the change between high and low positions. The upright seating position does not automatically mean the ride is approved for all ages. The operator's conditions apply. Fares and conditions of participation are set or displayed at each appearance. Before buying a ticket, ask about minimum height, age and whether an accompanying adult is required. Follow the staff's instructions when boarding and store loose items as directed by the team.
