Quarter Tramp – Dahlhaus
Jump yourself instead of just riding – with bungee support
Operator: Dahlhaus (Melanie Dahlhaus)
Quarter Tramp Dahlhaus is a mobile bungee trampoline attraction run by the Dahlhaus showman business. Unlike on a traditional carousel, participants move themselves: they jump on a trampoline with support from elastic cords and a harness system. This creates a mix of physical activity and an unusual feeling of weightlessness.

Highlights & records
Interactive bungee trampoline attraction with elastic safety cords and self-directed jumps.
Quarter Tramp by Dahlhaus combines movement on a trampoline with the special lift provided by elastic safety cords.
How Quarter Tramp Dahlhaus works
The focus is on each individual jump. Before starting, participants are secured with a suitable harness connected to elastic cords. As they take off, the tension in the cords helps lift them upwards. Gravity, the trampoline and the cords then bring them back to the jumping surface. Unlike an automatically controlled carousel ride, the experience is shaped by your rhythm and body tension.
The name Quarter Tramp refers to a type of mobile bungee trampoline. The manufacturer Euroviva describes it as a foldable aluminium structure with integrated lifting technology and several possible jumping stations. It is designed for use at different event venues. You can see which version and equipment Dahlhaus has set up by looking at the attraction on site.
This attraction also offers something special for spectators: you can watch the jumps unfold from across the fairground. If you do not want to take part yourself, you can follow the movements and attempts of other visitors. This sets Quarter Tramp apart from many rides, where the experience takes place mainly inside a gondola.

History: Quarter Tramp Dahlhaus on the road
The Dahlhaus showman business has been travelling with this bungee trampoline at fairs for many years. Official line-up lists for Aachen Bend events repeatedly list Quarter Tramp as a trampoline run by Dahlhaus. The attraction has also been documented as a standalone attraction at other fairs in North Rhine-Westphalia.
What sets it apart from traditional rides is especially distinctive: instead of a motor-driven circuit, each person experiences their own sequence of jumps. Quarter Tramp is therefore both an activity and a little show for people watching from the sidelines. The concept suits fairs that offer interactive activities alongside traditional carousels.

Who is the bungee trampoline suitable for?
Quarter Tramp is for active visitors who enjoy jumping and are looking for an hands-on experience. The combination of your own movement and the support of elastic cords is especially exciting. Unlike on an ordinary trampoline, the jump feels different, without following a fixed route.
If you are out with children, you can look at the attraction together first. It is important to follow the staff's instructions on safety and the correct harness fit. You can find out the binding participation requirements, particularly for age, height and weight, directly at the stall. Find more activities for families in our attraction overview.
