Pirate Party – Anthony Peeters

What it’s like to ride Pirate Party Peeters

The pirate ship swings back and forth like a giant pendulum. With each swing, it goes higher until you hang in the air for a moment at the turning points, high above the fairground. Then the ship rushes back down. You feel the thrill most strongly at the ends of the ship.

In the standing areas, you experience the pendulum motion quite differently from when you’re seated. However, staff decide which places are available to you, in accordance with the applicable safety rules.

History of Pirate Party Peeters

Pirate ship rides have been part of fairs for centuries, while large motorised pirate ships have been around since the late 20 century. With Pirate Party, Anthony Peeters operates an unusual version of this type of ride. Belgian trade reports had already described the attraction in 2022 as a pirate ship ride with standing cages. The manufacturer and year of construction have not yet been documented publicly.

Operators and guest appearances

Anthony Peeters also travels with the new ride Speed Wave, which he operates together with Louisette Van den Heuvel. You can find the dates in the funfair calendar, and more classic attractions in the attraction overview.

Who is the pirate ship ride suitable for?

Pirate Party is a thrill ride for teenagers and adults who enjoy moments of weightlessness. Height and age restrictions apply to children and are displayed at the entrance. If you prefer a gentler ride, sit towards the middle of the ship, where the swing is smallest. Store loose items safely before the ride so nothing falls out of your pocket.
