Familien Piraten Abenteuer – Martin Rausch
Family flights in self-controlled pirate ships
Operator: Martin Rausch
Familien Piraten Abenteuer is a hydraulic flying ride where you control the flight height yourself from a pirate ship gondola. The ride is designed entirely for families: instead of loops, it offers an active but gentle ride. The chance to control your own ship is what makes it especially appealing. This clearly sets it apart from an ordinary children's carousel.

What the Familien Piraten Abenteuer ride is like
The gondolas look like small pirate ships and are attached to arms that rotate around a central axis. During the ride, you can move your ship up or down using a foot pedal. You decide whether to fly high above the fairground or stay close to the ground. It looks especially appealing from the outside, as the ships fly at different heights.
